Recently, the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism officially released "Ningbo Micro Vacation - The Best Fun in Zhejiang" The 2022 Ningbo Cultural Tourism Winter and Spring Products, which will provide a sumptuous Spring Festival Cultural Tourism feast for the citizens and tourists in Ningbo.

In response to the new trend of cultural and tourism integration and consumption, this year, the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Television has integrated the two elements of historical and cultural cities and coastal metropolises into the design of Spring Festival tourism products. There are eight themed activities in the four major sections of "New Year's Taste", "Online Benefit Tour", "Celebrity’s Visit" and "Joy of Interest in Ningbo".

Foreigners experience Spring Festival celebrations

At noon on January 18, 16 foreign friends from 12 countries including the United States, Canada, Ireland, South Africa and Iraq gathered at a villa of Zhaobao Mountain Sub-district in Zhenhai District, listened to some craftsmen talking about traditional festival culture, and experienced in person the celebrating activities, including writing Spring Festival couplets, embroidering tiger-head shoes, making rubbings, making spring rolls, making glutinous rice balls, and making golden glutinous rice balls. The foreigners took part in the activities one by one, and they took photos and videos from time to time to record good and interesting moments

he “music Ningbo” special exhibition for musical IPs was started at the Creative Ningbo Hall of Nantang Old Street on January 18.

This immersive exhibition has built an audible and visible music space for the audience. Visitors can watch the exhibition through interactive ways such as the Audfly, code scanning and listening to songs, holographic projection, 3D ring screen, musical instrument scene reproduction, vinyl record experience and so on. Six chapters, including “Ningbo music figures”, “music enterprises (bases)”, “music history”, “musical instruments”, “music cultural creation” and “science and technology music”, were displayed on site, exhibiting the construction achievements of “music Ningbo” in a combination of graphics, pictures, video and audio materials.

At the opening ceremony, Tu Jingnan, a national first-class performer, played Xun, an ancient musical instrument, which could be seen at the Hemudu Site more than 7,000 years ago. The string quartet group of Ningbo Symphony Orchestra played the classic song of “Butterfly Love Story”, and Ningbo Song and Dance Troupe played the “tea picking dance”. At the site, some famous Ningbo musicians such as Ms. Yu Lina, the performer of “Butterfly Love Story”, and Ma Youyou, the world-famous cellist, sent their blessings to the exhibition through the video.

Sending “blessing” to passengers at airport

On the first day of the Spring Festival travel rush, there was a festive and peaceful atmosphere at Terminal 2 of Ningbo Lishe International Airport. At the passenger lounge, some calligraphers were writing and sending “Fu” characters (with the meaning of blessing) and Spring Festival couplets to passengers. The activity, launched by Ningbo Airport VIP Company, was warmly welcomed by passing passengers. Many stopped to enjoy the writing and accepted this special and warm blessing.

The present calligraphers include Zou Daming, former Party Secretary of Ningbo Federation of Literary and Art Circles and President of Ningbo Branch of Siming Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Qian Dingsheng, Vice-chairman of Ningbo Calligrapher Association and President of Sha Menghai Calligraphy Academy.

The passengers were glad to receive the Spring Festival couplets and Fu characters. A passenger holding a piece of “Fu” character said fondly that he didn’t expect to receive such a good “blessing” at the airport. It was really a surprise
