"The sky and the earth are wide between square inches, and the intersection of gold and stone is great." At present, the 6th Zhejiang Seal Carving Exhibition of "Wu Changshuo Award" is being exhibited at Ningbo Yangfan Art Museum, and more than 200 printing screens have attracted many calligraphy and painting lovers. In front of the exquisite seal carving art works, citizens have checked in to take photos.

As the most representative special seal carving art exhibition in Zhejiang Province, the 6th Zhejiang Seal Carving Exhibition of "Wu Changshuo Award" is jointly sponsored by the Publicity Department of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, Ningbo Municipal Federation of Literature and Culture and Zhejiang Calligraphers Association, and jointly organized by the Seal Carving Creation Committee of Zhejiang Book Association, Ningbo Art Museum, Ningbo Calligraphers Association, Ningbo Printing Society, Ningbo Tianyi Culture and Ningbo Yangfan Art Museum.

According to the organizer, the authors and works submitted to this year's seal carving exhibition reached a record high, and a total of 560 submissions were received from all over the country, nearly double the number of submissions in the past, including 103 in Ningbo.

The 4th Oil Painting Exhibition of Ningbo kicks off

On the morning of October 14, the 4th Oil Painting Exhibition of Ningbo was held at Ningbo Art Gallery, exhibiting over 100 works of local artists at different ages. The exhibition aims to promote the continuous improvement of the level of oil painting of the artists and the constant prosperity of the art and literary cause of Ningbo through the painting of the high-quality development road of the city.

The exhibition, sponsored by Ningbo Federation of Literary and Art Circles and organized by Ningbo Artists Association, is one of the series activities of “2022 Literary and Art Circle and the New Era”. It is reported that with the strong support of the district (or county) art associations, artists devote themselves to creation and actively contribute works to the exhibition. After review, 121 works were exhibited. The different painting languages of the different generations of local artists, their thinking and artistic experience of life in the new era, and their active exploration of artistic language, are fully presented in the exhibition.

First Guqin Art Performance Show rounded off

On October 16, the first Guqin Art Performance Show in Ningbo came to an end at the Pan Art Space of Hefeng Creative Plaza.

The performance is divided into two groups: adult group and youth group, attracting nearly 100 guqin players from the city to participate. The activity adopts both the online and offline models. The contestants register online and post the video materials of the exhibition tracks. Then the judges selected 25 contestants, including 16 adults and 9 teenagers, through online viewing and reviewing.

At the show, the players demonstrated their high-standard guqin playing skills with the appealing classic guqin pieces.

After the fierce competition, 15 players from the adult group and eight from the youth group won the final prizes.

Ningbo Library Held the Chinese Study Culture and Art Exhibition

The day before yesterday, the "This is the Study - Chinese Study Culture and Art Exhibition" was launched in the exhibition hall on the second floor of the Yongfeng Hall of Ningbo Library.
