Preparation for 3rd Smart City Expo Completed

News came from Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center that the preparations of the 3rd Smart City Expo 2013 would be completed on September 5 and open on September 6. It will be exhibited in 4 pavilions with a focus on practical application.
The expo has eight major exhibition areas for leading enterprises achievement, pilot smart city of Zhejiang province, smart city management, smart health experience, new high-tech achievement, public service platform of Internet of Things, application of Shenzhen Internet of Things, exhibition for three major operators with peculiar design respectively.
Pavilion 1 is used for exhibition of theme achievements. Some world-renown international enterprises including Microsoft and IBM have their booths there. Ningbo Digital Television Group will show its latest products including TV2.0 high-definition interactive video-on-demand platform, 4k high-definition TV and 3D TV, screens-interaction technology, trans-screen TV, family intelligence system, video phone and Kinect games in its booth. The smart city achievement of 13 Zhejiang's prefecture-level cities, organized by the provincial Economic and Information Committee, will also be exhibited in a booth of over 600 square meters.
Pavilion 2 is mainly used for smart city management exhibition. Some local software companies as well as BT Group (UK) set their booths there. Pavilion 3 has a rich content of exhibitions from China Telecom, National QR Code Union, as well as exhibitions of public service platform of national Internet of Things and the first generation of IT achievement. Pavilion 4 is used as the application booth for Shenzhen Internet of Things, including several exhibition programs such as smart education and smart health.
The smart health exhibition area is located in both Pavilion 2 and 3. As a pilot program organized by municipal Bureau of Health, the area is divided into five exhibition parts including general introduction of smart health, smart public health, smart hospital, smart community and regional health as well as five experience parts such as health house, community health education, health services at home, mobile hospital and remote ECG. 500 lucky citizens are able access to these smart medical facilities with their card.
Some citizens were lining up for free tickets and prepared to visit the Smart City Expo from September 6 to 8.
