Ningbo modern manufacturing industry to concentrate on five equipments

According to the plan of Zhejiang, in the light of the reality of Ningbo, Ningbo has set its main targets in its modern equipment manufacturing industry: the expand and improve intelligent whole set equipment, high-end infrastructural support equipment, rail transit equipment, marine engineering equipment and automobiles of new energies.
Ningbo has always attached great importance to the equipment manufacturing industry. As an important base of the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang, Ningbo is among the best in China in the fields of digital control machine tools, high-end plastic injectors, photovoltaic devices, electronic flat knitting machine, and high-voltage electric transmission and transformation equipment. In the first three months this year, the output of the equipment manufacturing industry amounts to 18.78 billion yuan, ranking the first in Zhejiang.
At present, Ningbo is making the 3-year plan for the development of new equipment industry. The main points are: the city should expand and strengthen the industries in intelligent whole set equipment, high-end infrastructural support equipment, rail transit equipment, marine engineering equipment and automobiles of new energies. By strengthening the industries in the five equipments, Ningbo should be competitive in one or two of these fields in the coming three years.
