Cixi pushes ahead “Blue Collar Talent Project”

Recently, the 4-month long 8th Cixi Skill Competition closed in Cixi. More than 30 thousand participants from 465 companies attended the competition with 31 items. 33 won the title of skill masters and 218 won certain prizes.
The exploration of "Blue Collar Talent Project" is a highlight of the talent work of Cixi. Since 2009, it has enlarged the blue collar talents in the city by strengthening technical training, having technical titles appraisal and encouraging technical innovation.
According to statistics, there are 85 skill training bases in the city, which have trained 52 thousand people.
At the same time, Cixi also set up 22 technician overcoming teams by integrating outstanding technician, chief workers, leaders of model studio and assimilating technical backbones from state-owned enterprises. Up to now, the team has helped enterprises solve 224 problems.
