Cixi has got 108 city-level research institutes in enterprises

We learned from Cixi Science and Technology Bureau the number of enterprise R&D institutions at the municipal level broke through 108 up to now which is leading in all counties and districts of Ningbo.
A few days ago, the identification results of 2014 Ningbo enterprise research institution and Ningbo enterprise engineering and technology center were released. Three R&D institutions of Bull,Renhesolar and Singfun were selected into Ningbo enterprise research institution and another 12 including Degson into Ningbo enterprise engineering and technology center.
After the project of Three hundred enterprise R&D institutions every three year was launched in Cixi since 2013, we have accelerated the cultivation of enterprise R&D institutions at the municipal level according to the Six-have Criteria – Research personnel, Research site, Research investment, Research equipment, Management system and Research achievement in the traditional competitive industries and strategic emerging industries. The number of newly-recognized Cixi enterprise engineering and technology centers stood at 58 in 2013. Meanwhile ,we have strengthened our construction level and R&D ability through the synergy with universities and increased assistance activities on the basis of industrial features and development trend.
As city’s first batch of the provincial enterprise research institution project, Zhejiang Cixing Textile Machinery Automation Research Institution of Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd and Zhejiang Xinhai Precision Plastic and Automation Technology Research Institution of Ningbo Xinhai Electric Co., Ltd focus on researching textile machinery automation and precision plastic products and automation equipment respectively, unceasingly leading industrial innovation and transformation development.
Currently, we have established a four-tiered enterprise R&D institution construction at Cixi, Ningbo, provincial and national level, cultivated 224 R&D institutions at all levels and driven enterprises to invest on R&D about RMB 1 billion yuan. In 2013, the enterprise R&D institutions have yielded fruitful achievements in Science and Technology Award. Four achievements including the Browning Pattern of Quick-frozen Green Cabbages and Control Technology Research were rewarded the first prize and another eight such as the LTV3266D International HD Territorial Digital Integrated TV Receiver the second prize.
