“Made in Ningbo” auto parts export exceeded 1 billion in July

According to Ningbo Customs, the export of “Made in Ningbo” auto parts from January to July amounted to 5.75 billion yuan, increasing by 8.3%. The export of July reached 1.02 billion yuan, up 21.2%, hitting a record high. “Every chip here, like people’s identity, has a two-dimensional code. No matter which chip has problem, we can detect the source quickly, including the time, place and name of the maker. All chips produced here will be checked automatically,” the staff in the workshop said.
In fact, many central control systems of Benz and BMW were made by the company.
According to statistics, there are about 3000 auto parts manufacturers in Ningbo. More and more Ningbo enterprises have taken the lead of this business.
“The BMS system and its sensors that we provide for BMW electricity automobile have been applied to several types of cars like i3. The technology can have precise control of the battery in complex batteries and have intelligent charge and discharge,” introduced Chen Yang.
More and more Ningbo enterprises have grasped the advanced technology in the world, which spurred other private auto parts enterprises to transform and upgrade themselves. Huade Holding Group was originally a small private enterprise processing truck parts in Cixi. In order to survive the market competition, Huade moved its headquarters to Hangzhou Bay District, put large investment, and set up R&D center to focus on the development of high-end auto parts. Now, it has become the largest domestic manufacturer of auto doorknob. 80% of Shanghai Volkswagen doorknobs were made by Huade.
Statistics from the Customs show that private enterprises have become the main force of export. The export of auto parts has reached 3.54 billion yuan, up 7.9%, accounting for 61.6% of the total export.
