2014 Singapore Ningbo Exposition opened

On August 19th, 2014 Singapore Ningbo Import and Export Trade Fair opened in Singapore Suntec City International Convention Center. The fair occupies an area of 3800 square meters. More than 150 enterprises from Ningbo and Qingdao participated in the fair.
This fair will feature Ningbo’s technology, products and service, aiming to explore the sea silk road and promote international exchange and cooperation. The fair was sponsored by Ningbo Municipal Foreign Trade Bureau, and supported by 4 chambers of commerce including Singapore Chinese General Chamber of Commerce.
As is known, China is the largest trade partner of Singapore. Each Singaporean has $20,000 foreign trade volume with China. Besides, Singapore is located in the center of southeast Asia. At present, there is a population of 600m in the 10 countries of ASEAN. In 2015, ASEAN Economic Community will be put into practice and will become a unified market. Singapore is the offshore RMB business center. Chinese enterprises can take the advantage of the favorable conditions of Singapore and build trade channels with other countries.
