Goat milk power imported for the first time

Recently, the 7.4 tons of the infant formula goat milk powder imported from New Zealand passed the inspection of the Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and was ready for sale in the market. This is the first time for Ningbo to import goat milk powder. Due to the scarcity of the goat milk, the goat milk products are rare. The import is sure to enrich the milk product market in Ningbo.
According to the statistics from the bureau, by March 27, it had conducted the inspection and quarantine of 674.5 tons of various imported milk products with a total value of US$2.157 million, up by 239% and 123% respectively over the same period of last year. The imports mainly cover milk power for infants, milk power for adults and liquid milk, from such major source countries as New Zealand, France, Germany and Australia.
