First session of Hamburg Festival held in Ningbo

Young people nowadays are really lucky to have so various opportunities for entertainment. The first Hamburg Festival in Ningbo, which started last Friday, attracted over 90,000 people within three days, making it comparable to a large-scale music festival.

Recently, the citizens’ moments all have something about the Hamburg Festival, stating that in addition to multiple hamburger brands participating, there are also concerts and food markets on site. On the afternoon of the 27, at the Hamburg Festival site located at the Jihe Square in Dongsheng Sub-district, it was a busy scene.
At around 5 pm, the square was already crowded with citizens, and many hamburger stalls had long queues in the front. The aroma of freshly fried steak permeated the entire block. It is understood that due to the fact that hamburgers were freshly baked, the waiting time for citizens in queue was between 30 and 60 minutes, and the price of hamburgers ranged from over 20 to over 40 yuan. Some stalls sold out their food quickly and had to restock immediately.
People meet in pairs or in groups of three to taste hamburgers, a barbecue, or a cup of tea, and spend the night strolling.
In addition to local young people, there are also many foreign tourists and friends to the festival. “We came from Qingdao for a trip and happened to have a look at the hamburger festival”, said a Miss Peng, who usually enjoys going to trendy markets with her friends. “This trip to Ningbo is really worth it.”
