Introduction of Tianyige Museum
Tianyige Library is located on the bank of the Moon Lake in Ningbo. It was built as the library of the Secretary of Defense, Fan Qin, in the 45th of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1566). Tianyige Library is the oldest private library now still in existence in China, and it is also one of the most ancient private libraries in the world. Now there are more than 300,000 volumes of books in Tianyige Museum, which includes more than 80,000 volumes are reliable texts.
