Thermal power plants of Ningbo accelerating denitrating program

The other day, the National Development and Reform Commission released the Notice of Policy for Promoting Denitrating Program for Thermal Power Plants, which specifies that from 2013 the policy will the implemented for all the coal steam electric generation units all over the country.
In 2011, China officially started to implement the pollutants emission standard for power plants, which sets the limit of nitrogen oxides emission as 100 mg/cubic meter for coal steam boilers. The standard will be in effect from July 1 for all thermal power plants. All the power generation units must be renovated before the deadline.
Before the end of June in the next year, all the denitrating program for the 5 power generating units in Beilun Power Plant must be completed and so will be the units in Guohua Ninghai Power Plant.
As the approach of the deadline for the new standard, before the end of June in the next year, all other power generating units in Ninghai, Beilun and Xiangshan will complete the denitrating program.
