Ningbo attracts World Top 500 companies to ZITS and CICGF

The great opportunities are a great attraction to the World Top 500 companies. According to the news conference held on May 17 on Zhejiang Investment and Trade Symposium and China International Consumer Goods Fair, senior managers of some of the World Top 500 companies including the Carlyle Group and Porsche Automotive Investment Gmbh will come to Ningbo to attend the 15th Zhejiang Investment and Trade Symposium, the 12th China International Consumer Goods Fair and the 6th China Opening Forum to be open in June.
Then will open 6 meetings in industrial cooperation, including the meeting of international companies on investment in the marine economy of Zhejiang and the tourism promotion meeting of Zhejiang. At the tourism promotion meeting, about 208 projects will be offered to investors, involving investment of 267.3 billion yuan. So far, 51 projects to be signed have been reported to the organization committee, involving investment of 112.5 billion yuan. To the events will come the Carlyle Group, Borgwarner, LANXESS, Porsche Automotive Investment Gmbh, Bnp Paribas, and Maersk, for investment in Zhejiang.
The invitation for international exhibitors has been a great success this year. According to a related authority for international investment of the organization committee, the international exhibition hall will have areas for China foreign trade cooperation, for foreign investment promoters and for the foreign sister cities of Zhejiang. So far, all the 54 exhibition stalls have been ordered out by some foreign investment promotion institutions including Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, Thai-Chinese Rayong Industrial Zone and Arkansas Economic Development Commission. The attendants to the events are from 20 countries and regions, including some new comers those from Malaysia, India and Finland.
