Ningbo Airport witnesses inbound and outbound passenger flow peak

During the Spring Festival period, Ningbo Airport has received the inbound and outbound passenger flow peaks. It is learned from Ningbo Airport Border Inspection Station that on the first day of the lunar year, the inbound and outbound passengers reached 3586 people, while on the second day the number rose to 7556 people, with 48 international flights. According to the statistics of the station, during the seven-day Spring Festival holiday, the inbound and outbound passengers will exceed 30,000 people, hitting a historical high.
As an increasing number of countries provide visa-free or visa on arrival policies for Chinese citizens, many Ningbo citizens now choose to take overseas tours during the Spring Festival holiday. Reportedly, besides the existing flight routes, during the holiday, Ningbo Airport added 27 international flight routes with 212 international flights, to such places as Nagoya, Nha Trang, Bali Island, Suratthani, Langkawi and Pattaya, realizing direct flights to such tourist countries as Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia.
The staff of the Border Inspection Station wants to remind the passengers to check validity period of their visa and other personal documents in advance, so that they can have time to replace them at the related departments if they are out of date. The package tour passengers should follow their own teams for inspection procedures to avoid any delay or other troubles.
