It is learned from Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Trade that the 24th Ningbo New Year Fair & National Green and Low-carbon Consumption Exhibition will be held from January 30 to February 5 in Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition will open from 8am to 4:30pm during the seven days.
It is the first time for the exhibition to be held in Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition will be held in Hall No.2, Hall No.3 and some outdoor areas, with a total area of 170,000 square meters and 720 booths. The food and agricultural products from hundreds of specialty food companies in Ningbo, as well as from 24 provinces and cities including Taiwan, Xinjiang, Liaoning and Shanghai, and 12 foreign countries such as the US, France and Australia, will be exhibited.
The exhibition features the high-quality pollution-free agricultural products, such as pheasants and mountain vegetables from Siming Mountain, white geese from Xiangshan County, potato from Huchen Village, red oranges from Ninghai County, Zhenning brand chickens, mushrooms from Tiantai County, Yongyou organic milk, and walnuts and dates from Xinjiang.
Meanwhile, during the exhibition, some famous food and vegetable companies inside and outside Ningbo, the municipal vegetable supply base and some leading agricultural products companies will provide high-quality and low-price vegetables and meat for the citizens.
Also noteworthy is that it is the first time in the exhibition to have the imported food exhibition area. Such food as wax apple and custard apple from Tiawan, longan, mangosteen and Mango from Thailand, purple sweet potato and green mango from Vietnam, oranges from South Africa, kiwifruit from New Zealand, milk powder from Germany, olive oil from Greece, tuna from the Indian Ocean, salmon from Norway, nuts from Turkey, big lobster from Australia, halibut from the Atlantic Ocean and cherry from Chile, will be supplied at a price of 10% to 20% lower than the market price. All the imported food has been imported through the cold chain logistics system of Ningbo Port and can be traced back to its origin through the retrospective system.
For the citizens' convenience, during the exhibition, more buses to the center will be added. Plus, 10 free buses will be scheduled to pick up the citizens from 7.30am to 4.50pm from January 30 to February 5 in two lines, with one departing from Fubon Stadium and the other one from the 2nd Department Store in Rixin Street.
