It is required that the volume of live pig slaughtering should be maintain at around 5000 heads, vegetables, 4500 tons, aquatic products, 600 tons and bean products, 110 tons.
In the Aquatic Product Wholesale Market in Jiangdong District, the trading volume of aquatic products has increased from the previous 530 tons per day to 632 tons on the first day of the long holiday, an increase of about 20%. Besides the aquatic products, the first day also witnessed the brisk sales of meat and poultry. In the Wholesale Market of Meat, Poultry and Eggs, about 600 heads of pigs were consumed and about 80,000 to 100,000 kilograms of live chickens were sold, both an increase of 100% over the usual average daily volume
