6th China Filial Piety Festival to be held

The 6th China Filial Piety Festival, themed on "filial piety promotes harmonious Jiangbei", will be held on September 28 in Jiangbei District, which is well-known for its filial piety culture.
As the first "China filial piety culture town", Jiangbei District has successfully held five sessions of the festival. With such series activities as "finding the Top 10 most moving filial piety characters", the yearly event has played a positive role in propagating filial piety culture, highlighting the cultural characteristics of Jiangbei District, enhancing its fame and reputation, and promoting its economic development.
This year, the festival will stress the concept of thrift and feature. With the central theme of filial piety, the event will be composed of eight major activities, including a theme party, the shooting ceremony of the TV series "Filial Piety", the contest of "100 filial piety families in Jiangbei District", mountain climbing on the Double Ninth Festival, displaying of the respecting etiquette for the aged, the performing tours to communities (or villages), 1000 filial piety volunteers visiting communities (or villages), and a "Saturday rendezvous at Cicheng Ancient Town".
It is worth mentioning that the festival will be closed integrated with the second phase of the educational and practical activities of the Party's mass line policy. At the theme evening party, various forms of performance, such as reciting, singing and dancing, short plays and musicals, will be on, showing the love and dedication of the party members to the public and demonstrating the harmonious relationship between the leaders and the general public.
