ZJITS to hold nine matchmaking activities

The organizing committee of the China Zhejiang Investment and Trade Symposium (ZJITS) announced on Tuesday that they plan to hold nine investment matchmaking meetings during the 14th ZJITS. Up till now, over 350 international companies and organizations have confirmed their attendance and plan to build cooperation with local companies in the field of investment, trade, technology, brand, and marketing.
The matchmaking activities will focus on strategic and emerging industries, marine industries, energy saving and environmental protection industry, household appliances and electronics industry, and services industry. The effort aims to promote the cooperation between local private companies and their international counterparts while enhancing the competitiveness of local companies. From June 6 to June 8, a number of cooperation and matchmaking activities will be held, including matchmaking between world top 500 companies and strategically emerging industries in Zhejiang, between Zhejiang private enterprises and world’s emerging industries, and matchmaking meeting for emerging marine industries. Meanwhile, the Zhejiang-Japan Energy-saving and Environmental Protection Industry Symposium and the International Matchmaking Meeting for Intelligence Appliances Industry will also present opportunities for local companies.
An official from Municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau said, the 350 international companies to attend the matchmaking meeting have expressed their sincere intention for economic and trade cooperation. A highlight of the fair will be World Top 500 Corporations to be attending the fair, which include Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, Wal-Mart, Itochu, GE in the United States, Tesco Real Estate Group.
