Ningbo’s stationery tycoons planning for the Internet Plus era

The traditional manufacturing sector is groping its way to Internet Plus. On the morning of March 23, CSRC ( China Securities Regulatory Commission ) approved Guangbo’s buyout of Yunmedia.com of Shannan, Tibet, with share-issuing and cash payment. The reorganization plan also includes raising of supporting funds. 
As the first stationery company going public in China, Guangbo is specialized in stationery products, doing the utmost to develop office and culture industry. It aims to advance the integration of Mobile Internet, cloud computing, big data, IOT and modern manufacturing, promote the healthy development of E-commerce, industry Internet and Internet banking and guide Internet businesses to explore the international market. Guangbo believes that this buyout is not simply an adding together, but that it makes use of IT and Internet platform to realize in-depth integration of Internet and traditional industries so as to create new development ecology.


Yunmedia was established in November 2013. It has the famous fashion website www.aili.com, which is dedicated to women fashion and fashion navigation services. Its customers include Vip.com, LAFASO.com, Suning.com and nuomi.com, which are all well-known E-commerce enterprises, as well as automobile websites like  XCAR and Yiche.com and 9377.com.  
“Guangbo will join Yunmedia in terms of internet economy to proactively embrace impact of new commercial activities and new patterns and seek integrated development between manufacture and internet”, said Wang Liping, director of Guangbo Group. He also says that the impact of new economy has sped up the reshuffling of traditional industries, including stationery industry. Guangbo will understand demands from clients in the internet age and finally achieve synchronized development between stationery and internet marketing services.
Guangbo says that this acquisition can help instill new resources into the existing e-commerce, expand market quotas of Guangbo in comprehensive e-commerce platform, as well as provide talents and technologies in internet marketing and build brand new differentiation operation pattern. Meanwhile, it also allows Guangbo to have a quick access to internet marketing to offer marketing services for other products, which has deepened the layout in the internet marketing, reduced risks of management and operation in new services, and also gained quicker access to customer and channel resources from Yunmedia.
