Ningbo to host two fairs and two exhibitions in June

Ningbo shall keep hosting trade events in a thrifty way. It was learned from the relevant departments on the 16th that the 16th Zhejiang Investment and Trade Symposium, the 3rd China Marine Fair, the 2014 Exhibition of Characteristic Products of Middle and Eastern Europe, the 13th China International Consumer Goods Fair will be held in Ningbo from June 8 to 11. This scheduling will save the costs and improve the efficiency.
The four events will center on the theme of deepening reform and opening up and expanding international cooperation. They consist of investment & trade talk, exhibition & trading and conference & forum. For the investment & trade part there will be eight trade talks including the trade talk of top 500 multinational corporations with Zhejiang enterprises, the matching talk between overseas Chinese businesses and Zhejiang businessmen, the talk between Taiwan business people and Zhejiang businesspeople, talk on health care cooperation projects overseas, talk on tourism cooperation and talk on Zhejiang private-owned enterprises’ going-global, talk on introduction of overseas brains, and signing ceremony of major projects of Zhejiang province (foreign investment, marine economy investment), etc.
The Exhibition of Characteristic Products of Middle and Eastern Europe, the first session ever, is to be held in Ningbo International Exhibition Center. In the center of the exhibition area there will be image showrooms of 16 countries and around them there will be exhibition booths of the 16 mid and east European countries. At the same time, Ningbo will also hold a Trade and Culture Week of the Middle and Eastern European countries. The Week will includes the talk on Ningbo enterprises’ making investment in Middle and Eastern Europe and communication activities on education, culture, health, tourism, port and sister cities, etc.
The 13th China International Consumer Goods Fair will make a facelift. It is introduced that this fair is centered on “home” and family consumption. There will be exhibition sections for the kitchenware, sitting-room articles, bathroom accessories, imported goods, etc.
As for the forum session, there will be an international conference and a forum, which are the ministerial meeting of economy and trade promotion between China and Middle and Easter Europe and a forum on cross-border trade and e-commerce respectively.
