Ningbo and CSR Group signed five cooperative contracts

The other day, Ningbo Municipal Government and CSR Group signed five cooperative agreements and contracts.
The industrial base of CSR Group in Ningbo is a key project of Ningbo in cooperation with a state-owned enterprise and it is also strategically important production base for emerging industries. Since 2011, the industrial base of CSR Group in Ningbo has signed and put into operation 15 projects, whose total investment amounts to 6.5 billion yuan and the industrial investment so far completed added up to 2 billion yuan. So far, four companies have put into operation and three manufactural projects will start construction soon, involving products of super electric capacitors, complete urban rail trains, tram cars, trolley buses, and light rail electric assemblies and urban pipe works.
According to the newly signed agreements, the two parties will work together to nurture new scientific and technological innovative projects, and promote more strategic emerging industries in the industrial base of CSR Group in Ningbo so as to promote the mutual development of the base and the local industries. Other agreements include: the cooperative agreement on the promotion of the super electric capacitors, the agreement on the development of trolley bus industry, and general contract of rail tram cars in Yinzhou, and the framework agreement on new energy vehicles and standard components.
