On the evening of November 7,4 dolphins and 2
whales arrived at the Ningbo from Japan after two days' journey. They
would make home in the marine world.
The newly arrived guests are two male dolphins, two female dolphins,
one male whale and one female whale. Their new home will be the 5600 M2
polar museum. It needs 4500 tons of water to make home for them. The
water is not common sea water. It is made up tap water and special
seawater for mammal animals. In coming days, they would have 20
aquanauts and trainers to look after them. It's estimated that they
will meet visitors around the coming New Year's Day. |

An outing challenge activity was held at the
Sanlutan Resort and the Donghai Yunding Resort of Ninghai the other
day. It is part of the activities for the ongoing Ningbo Tourism
Festival. Over 500 people from 39 outing clubs in East China took the
challenge. The hikers started from Sanlutan, and went by way of
Longtan, Donghai Yunding and Taohuaken and returned to Sanlutan. The
route was about 28 kilometers, which took about 6 hours to cover.
