As long as you input the number of your ticket and put your palms on the fingerprint collector, the information of your palms will go into the system. The finger prints are said to be permanently kept in the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. This is a good way for the general public to take part in the Olympics, according to the organizer.

A visitor said : " Though we can not go to the venues to watch the games, this is a good way for us to be involved in the Olympics."

Apart from this interesting way of engaging visitors, there are a lot of exhibits about the Olympics and the achievements of Chinese athletes. There are torches of the Olympiad of the past sessions and various kinds of sports facilities, including the entrance card of the Chinese athlete for the 1936 session of the Olympics, the sportswear of Liu Xiang and his running shoes, the mascots and badges, etc. The exhibits include thousands of documents, articles and photos, which give an all-around show of the Olympic Games in history.
