The recruitment of the street entertainers by the Old Bund this year has been launched recently. With the series of open and scientific procedures like application, examination and licensing, the area will recruit a group of excellent street entertainers for music,
art and static demonstration and grant them license for performance. "We hope to enhance the cultural and artistic atmosphere of the Old Bund, broaden the growth space of the artists, and encourage more respect and acceptance for the street entertainment." said a person in charge from the administration committee of the Old Bund block
