It is learned from Ningbo Municipal Office of SAT that in the first three quarters of this year, the SAT system achieved a total tax revenue of 102.371 billion yuan, up by 8.7% over the same period of last year.

To be specific, the domestic added-value tax reached 59.448 billion yuan, up by 6.1%; the business income tax reached 19.119 billion yuan, up by 6.1%; the domestic consumption tax reached 21.594 billion yuan, down by 2.6%; while the vehicle purchase tax stood at 2.21 billion yuan, down by 22.9%, mainly due to the reduction of the tax on low-exhaust vehicles.

The emerging industries have played an important role due to the industrial transformation and upgrading. The medicine industry develops well, with the tax revenue increasing by 44%, being the industry with the largest growth rate of tax. The tax revenue for telecommunications equipment and special equipment rose by 20% and 14% respectively. While that for the automobile industry and electronic appliances industry rose by 40% and 15.5% respectively.
