Employees in Shundong Year Cake Company are producing year cakes, which sell well this summer. The company daily produces 8,000 kilograms year cakes, which are sold in supermarkets and agricultural food markets in Ningbo.

Typhoon Kompasu strengthened into a Category 3 storm capable of “devastating damage” after crossing Okinawa in Japan and heading toward Southeast China. On the night of August 31, fishers were summoned back to a harbor. But now Kompasu has withered away.

South Railway Station, which has been in service for 51 years, will be temporarily stopped. With three year’s extension and reform, East Railway Station will replace South Station as a temporary transportation center. Scaffold around waiting room of East Station has been dismantled and glass screen has been installed. Other supporting facilities have almost been completed.
