About 350 mu of rape flowers are blooming in spring these days in the Zhongjiatang plot along the Meishan Waterway of Beilun District. Meizhong Village, located on the Meishan street,

used to have a breeding pond area of 380 mu. In 2018, due to the ecological protection of Meishan Waterway, the pond was transformed into  farmland. However, this plot belongs to saline alkali land, which is not suitable for crop cultivation. Since last year, Meishan Street has made every effort to promote the construction of a beautiful new countryside, with an investment of nearly one million yuan for the transformation.
