Shanghai entrepreneurs seek investments in Ningbo

A group of entrepreneurs from Shanghai visited Ningbo last weekend to look for investment opportunities. The visiting delegation includes both Ningbo-born executives and business owners in real estate, logistics, and creative culture sectors.

During their visit, Bailian Group, Jinjiang International Group, and Heping Group showed interest in Ningbo's Wantou Block, which is located in the future Jiangbei administrative center and directly linked to the downtown area. According to He Tao, president of the Shanghai Bailian Group, Bailian has built six outlets in china's major cities like Wuhan, Nanjing, and Wuxi in recent years. It is negotiating with Ningbo government for the building of a new outlet in Jiangbei District. "As one of the three oldest districts in Ningbo, Jiangbei District is close to the urban center. We will hold more talks with local government, and we hope to build the second outlet in Ningbo," He Tao said.

Meanwhile, the AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd., who offers leasing services of aircraft, electrical machinery, transport equipment and other assets, expressed their interest in cooperation. The general manager said they hoped to cooperate with Meishan bonded area in the future development of seaplane.

In addition, the delegation members spoke highly of the development of Ningbo International Logistics Park in Beilun. The general manager of Shanghai Manco Logistics, Ltd. said that they hope to further cooperation with Ningbo by developing the third-party logistics services, and offer modern logistics services for cargo customers in Ningbo Port.

After visiting Ningbo's Hefeng Creative Square, Ling Lifeng, vice president of Shanghai Sunpower Investment Group, said, "there are similar parks in Shanghai, but it will cost much more for enterprises to land on. With a good cultural and creative atmosphere and the favorable policy support, I think many Shanghai-based companies will be very happy to come here. We can share both customers and resources for mutual benefit. "
