Ningbo to increase net per capital income of farmers by 11%

According to a meeting on the unified development of the city and the countryside, this year, the added value of agriculture should increase by 3% the net per capital income of farmers should increase by 11%, the gap of income of urban and rural citizens should be further narrowed, and Ningbo should be in the front rank of Zhejiang in the integrated development of the city and the countryside.
The meeting specifies six targets for land transfer, transformation of agricultural development and water conservancy projects. The city will increase transferred land by at least 20,000 mu, increase at least 10 municipal-level leading agricultural enterprises, and start 40 modern agricultural parks. The target for grain is 750,000 tons and 100,000 mu of standard grain production zones shall built. This year, the city will start sewage water treatment programs in 510 villages, and complete investment of 8 billion yuan in water conservancy projects. The city will construct 10 advanced towns for the "happy and beautiful homes" program, 35 well-off villages, start the construction of 20 municipal-level central villages, 25 villages with distinct features, and 8 choice tourist routes. At least 30,000 rural families shall have their housed rebuilt and 50 villages in under-developed areas shall be improved.
In order to speed up the equal public services for urban and rural citizens, the city will further improve the traffic network, the water network, and environment protection network, the ecological network and the social security network. It will build 120 inter-linked roads in rural areas, treat the water environment for 40 villages and built 200 kilometers of ecological waterways.
