China Food Expo to be held in Ningbo

The 2013 China Food Expo is scheduled to be held in Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 15 to 18, said the organizing committee of the Expo last Friday. Compared with the previous years, the number of overseas exhibitors will take up more than 50 percent of the total exhibitors.
The event is co-organized by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, the China Chamber of Commerce, and China Light Industry Council (CNLIC). Covering an area of 76,000 square meters and consisting of 3,800 international standard booths, the Expo has nine pavilions including seven current ones and two permanent ones.
Exhibitors from over 30 countries or regions will participate in the event. Top wine producers from France, Italy, Australia, the United States and Argentina will be present at the Expo. During the event, No. 1 Pavilion will feature name brands products and No. 2 Pavilion will feature imported food, including wine, dairy products, and etc.. No. 8 Pavilion will display 80 percent of Taiwan food products. Besides, the two perennial pavilions will also exhibit more than 50 percent of imported food.
