Sign language training class launched

To further promote the sign language, enhance the popularity rate of the sign language, and create a better environment for free communication with the hearing impaired people, Ningbo Employment Center for the Disabled carried out a beginner’s course of “Chinese Sign Language”, attracting 40 people for training.
With the deepening of the sign language promotion, the window service staff and the general citizens have improved their awareness of helping the disabled, so the sign language users have expanded to the window service staff, volunteer teams and sign language lovers.
The training class invited the professional teacher from Ningbo Special Education School as the trainer. In class, the teacher explained to the trainees the sign language knowledge and gestures in such aspects as daily life, laws and regulations, culture and sports, and animals and plants. After training, the trainees are able to use the basic sign language words to conduct some simple daily dialogues
