Seven patents won China Patent Award

According to the latest list of the winners of the 14th China Patent Award, assessed by China Patent Award Evaluation Committee and approved by the State Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization, three invention patents in Ningbo were awarded the excellence prize of China Patent Award, and four design patents were awarded the excellence prize of China Design Award.
China Patent Award is the only specialized government award for inventions with patents.
The three invention patents are as follows: "lead-free cutting technique for brass alloy of low antimony and bismuth and its manufacturing method" by Ningbo Powerway Alloy Material Co., Ltd., "LPG sweetening lye oxidizing and regenerating method and devices" by Ningbo Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd., and "an optical diffusion film and the LCD devices using it" by Ningbo Exciton New Material Technology Co., Ltd..
It is learned from Ningbo Municipal Intellectual Property Bureau that since 2009, there have been 16 patents that are awarded the China Patent Award, including one for the gold medal of the award.
