On September 1st, the Cultural Hall of Gezhu Village, Xikou Town, Fenghua District became a sea of joy. The Tianyihui Art Troupe sent a beautiful cultural feast to the villagers.
The performance kicked off in Li Xue’s performance of Peking Opera “Pear Blossoms” and “Drunken Concubine”. Zhu Yulan, the former chairman of Quyi Association of Fenghua District, performed the fascinating National Intangible Cultural Heritage walking story "Maitreya Planting Peach".
Tang Yan’s performance of Ningbo Storytelling "The Good Man A Bin" was really touching. Other performances like Ningbo drama "Wedding", magic, face change, and so on all thrilled the audience. The "first secretary" of Gezhu Village, Zhao Linian's Allegro "Do not forget why you start and stay true to your mission" pushed the atmosphere to a climax. The national first-class actor and Drama Plum Blossom Award winner Zhang Xiaojun performed Yue opera "Perfect Match", and the villagers shouted "Encore! Encore!" In the cheering of the audience, Zhang sang a selection of “Brother Liangyan”.
During the performance, the host Wang Ping wrote ink calligraphy for the 95-year-old Shan Xiangchao and Shan Zhaodi.
It is reported that the project of cultural brand activities into the cultural auditorium is a culture promotion activity launched by the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, Television and Tourism Bureau aiming to enrich the grassroots cultural activities and people’s cultural life.
Relying on the Tianyihui Art Troupe, the artists such as Wang Jinwen and Zhang Xiaojun, who are the winners of the Plum Blossom Award, and the opera lovers from all over the world will be on the same stage, and the favorite dramas will be sent to the masses. In 2019, more than 1,600 events will be organized and transported to various villages in the city to enrich the cultural life of the masses and use culture to promote rural revitalization
