Tramcar line to be built in Yinzhou

On November 27, the signing ceremony for major investment projects in Yinzhou District was held, and six entity economic projects with a total investment of 15 billion yuan were signed to settle down in the district, covering such fields as rail transportation, equipment manufacturing, intelligent development and research platforms.

At the ceremony, Yinzhou District Government signed an agreement with CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co. Ltd. to build the new-type tramcar operating line in downtown Yinzhou District. According to the plan, the two sides will set up a project construction platform to deal with the design, construction and trial of the line.

Zhenhai's export value ranking No.1

In the first nine months of this year, Zhenhai District realized a total import and export volume of US$5.067 billion, up by 2.1% over the same period last year. The export volume reached US$2.319 billion, up by 10.5%, the biggest increase in Ningbo and 8% higher than the average increase of the whole city.

Since the beginning of this year, Zhenhai District has focused on expanding markets, retaining market shares and grabbing orders. As participating in traditional exhibitions is a major channel for foreign trade enterprises to retain their market shares, the district has increased its support and guidance for the local enterprises to attend various kinds of exhibitions, guaranteeing the stable growth of foreign trade.

Foreign trade enterprises in the district took active part in exhibitions to develop new markets by taking advantage of the supporting policies. In June and July, they attended such important international exhibitions as Singapore-China (Ningbo) Import and Export Fair and China-ASEAN Expo. More enterprises in Zhenhai District participated or expanded their exhibition scale in such key exhibitions as the Canton Fair by means of diverse channels. Statistics show that only within these two months, enterprises in the district attended over 100 overseas exhibitions or international exhibitions held in China, an increase of 20% over the same period last year.

After two years' improvement and transformation, the first phase of the Liang-Zhu Cultural Park, with a total investment of 230 million yuan, has been completed, adding to the scenic areas such spots as Liang-Zhu Academy, the Zhus' House, Temple of the God who unites persons in marriage and the ancient villages. The park is just one of the five "billion-yuan" level projects in Yinzhou District. In the first ten months this year, with the building and completion of such projects, the district greeted 12.0257 million visitors and achieved a tourism revenue of 12.184 billion yuan, up by 10.6% over the same period last year.

Facility agriculture promoting modern agriculture transformation and upgrading

Two "intelligent greenhouses" are established in Cixi Shaogen Vegetables Cooperative Society: an intelligent terminal automatically adjusts the temperature, light and humidity every five minutes; and a display is showing the real-time monitoring information of the greenhouse which is divided into nine sections. Such kind of intelligent agriculture machines are common nowadays in the agriculture cooperative societies in Ningbo. The rise of the facility agriculture and "intelligent agriculture machiney" has made a great difference in the traditional way of crop growing and promoted the modern agriculture transformation and upgrading in Ningbo.

Since 2010, the agriculture machinery departments in Ningbo have included the facility agriculture construction in the subsidy scope and have implemented a total amount of subsidies of nearly 40 million yuan and attracted social capitals of 150 million yuan. Since last year, Ningbo has initiated the intelligent agriculture machinery construction and has established the comprehensive information management platform integrating the agriculture machinery geography information, the "telescope" network video surveillance, the intelligent logistics control of featured pillar industries and the video conference system. Such advanced technologies as 3S, Internet of Things and solar energy have been introduced into the agricultural machinery area to form a reasonable combination with existing machinery and equipments.
