With the approach of the Chinese traditional festival Double Ninth Festival, the 2021 Senior Citizens’ Festival Carnival, sponsored by the Municipal Old Cadres Bureau and the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, kicked off at the Municipal Old Cadres Activity Centre.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and the venue was full of "Red elements": watching a Red movie to review the history of the Party, taking a picture with the Party flag, Party history learning and education exhibition hall ... There were 14 activities in 4 major activity areas for the old to enjoy themselves.
At the party history learning and education exhibition hall, the exhibition board of 100 outstanding revolutionary figures attracted many old comrades.
The annual Senior Citizens’ Festival Carnival has long become a feature of the Double Ninth Festival in Ningbo for the old cadres. The event creates a strong atmosphere of loving and helping the elderly, conveys the care and concern of the party committee and government for the elderly comrades, and unites and guides the majority of retired cadres to contribute more to the high-quality development of the city and the construction of a leading city in common wealth.
This carnival will last for four days, and there will be a special session for elderly volunteers on October 15
