Maersk Meishan International Logistics Center Put into operation

 On the morning of July 15, the first phase of Maersk Meishan International Logistics Center was officially put into operation. It is reported that the total

investment of the project is about 200 million yuan, covering an area of 150 acres. It is the first fully automated warehousing project invested by Maersk Group in China.

 Maersk Meishan International Logistics Center will be constructed in two phases, aiming to build a large-scale, intensive, and automated international logistics distribution center. It will develop and introduce a logistics ecosystem including international transit logistics, cross-border import and export e-commerce logistics, regional distribution, cold chain logistics and related formats. The first phase of the project has a fully automatic three-dimensional warehouse and a 12,000-square-meter general-purpose shelf warehouse, which can store 50,000 cubic meters of goods at the same time; the supporting yard area is about 40,000 square meters and can store more than 12,000 standard boxes. Among them, the automated warehouse has about 22,000 storage spaces, equipped with 10 high-rack automatic stacking machines, 40 latent AGVs, and 10 automatic warehouse unloading doors, which achieve full coverage of 5G networks.
